He finds out that she is not the woman he thought her to be, and he is not the man he believed himself to be; he is more than he ever imagined. Joel Block is a psychologist whose beginnings were not encouraging. A stepchild twice and a troublemaker as often as possible, he was told he wrote the way he spoke and he didn't speak well at all. Being oppositional, he was inspired and went from least likely to succeed to earning a doctorate, honors, two medical school clinical faculty appointments and authoring over twenty books and countless articles.
