This is an exciting story about the long journey of a little purple hat. A young five-year-old girl loses her precious hat and is very sad, because it was a birthday gift from her Grandparents. It then travels throughout a city, being loved again and again by many little girls along the way.
There's quite a transformation with the hat, when it changes colour quite noticeably as the story unfolds. Your child will experience the emotional ups and downs, as this journey progresses. There is a most shocking re-location of the hat and in the end, it makes a little girl very happy, in a far away land!

Autorenporträt
Marlene Atkinson lives in Alberta, Canada - close to her children and grandchildren. Because the youngest grand-daughter lost a little hat that Marlene received from a friend (at Race City) - in the theatre one evening, nothing must do, her grand-daughter just had to find that hat! This caused the beginning of the story of the lost purple hat. Marlene loves writing for Children and a lot is due to working with them for an ECS program for many years. As well as writing the stories, Marlene does her own illustrations and uses several mediums in doing so. The characters in her books are a contribution to her own children/ grandchildren as well as a few good friends.
