Autorenporträt
Dr. Alan Riedesel, who lives in western New York, is a former elementary teacher, elementary principal, and distinguished university professor. He has written over twenty-five books for elementary school children, elementary school teachers, and parents. His wife died in 2015 after sixty-three years of marriage, leaving him with five grown children and six grandchildren. He has been active in Christian activities including Sunday school teaching for children and adults, being a church school superintendent, being a lay speaker, and projects that encourage critical thinking on the part of children. Emmy White is a watercolor painter who lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has been seriously painting since retiring from nursing ten years ago. She has an art studio with six other artists in the warehouse district of Northeast, Minneapolis, and has exhibited in shows, receiving many awards. Her art work has been sold to many collectors throughout the United States. Her enthusiasm for life and her expression of joy may be appreciated in her art.
