By day, a manager at a well-known bookstore chain in Melbourne, Australia, moonlighting as a ghoulish horror author by night.

Marcus was first published in 2018 with his speculative short story, A Spark of Youth in Deadset Press's Beginnings anthology. Since then, he has been published in many speculative fiction anthologies, as well as a novella, Tides of War, published by Deadset Press.

Marcus is an avid gamer, metalhead/elder emo kid and horror aficionado who may be a little too obsessed with Cthulhu, the apocalyptic hubris of mankind and the inevitable heat death of the universe.
