Simon Goddard is the author of Bowie Odyssey 70 (a Sunday Times Book of the Year). This is the sequel. He was born in Cardiff on 21 December 1971 - the week the first UK reviews of Hunky Dory were printed in Disc and Sounds magazines and Benny Hill kept T. Rex from becoming Christmas number 1.
