Phyllis J. Perry is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She received her masters degree from San Francisco State and her doctorate from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After serving in Boulder as a teacher, curriculum specialist, and principal, Phyllis retired to write. She has published more than seventy books. She and her husband live in Boulder.
