Nandini Mukherjee has been a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India since 1992. Currently, she is a professor in the Department. She has served as director of the School of Mobile Computing and Communication, Jadavpur University for almost six years. Before joining Jadavpur University as a faculty member, Professor Mukherjee served in the industry for nearly three years. Professor Mukherjee received a Commonwealth Scholarship for her doctoral study in the UK, and she completed her Ph.D in computer science from the University of Manchester, UK in 1999. She is an active researcher in her chosen field. Her research interests are in areas of high performance parallel computing, grid and cloud computing, and wireless sensor networks. She is a senior member of the IEEE and IEEE Computer Society.

Nandini Mukherjee received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from

University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 1999. She received Commonwealth

scholarship for her doctoral study in UK. She completed Masters in

Computer Science and Engineering degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata,

India in 1991, and Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology

from Bengal Engineering College, Sibpur, India in 1987.

Since 1992 Nandini has been a faculty in the Department of Computer

Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Currently she

is a professor in the department. She has served as director of School of Mobile

Computing and Communication, Jadavpur University for almost six years.

Before joining Jadavpur University as a faculty member, Nandini also served

industry for around three years.

Nandini Mukherjee is an active researcher in her chosen eld. Her research

interests are in areas of High Performance Parallel Computing, Grid

and Cloud Computing and Wireless Sensor Networks. She has published more

than 120 research papers in international peer reviewed journals and renowned

international conferences. She also acted as member of the technical program

committees, organizing committees and reviewer for many international conferences

and renowned journals. Nandini also acted as the lead investigator

of many technical projects with social relevance. She is a senior member of

IEEE and IEEE Computer Society.

Sarmistha Neogy received her Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Jadavpur

University, Kolkata, India, in 2006. She obtained her Masters in Computer

Science and Engineering degree and Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering

degree from Jadavpur University, in 1989 and 1987, respectively.

Sarmistha Neogy has served as faculty in University of Kalyani, University

of Calcutta, before joining Jadavpur University in 2001. At present she is

Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Sarmisthas research interests are in areas of Fault Tolerance in Distributed

Systems, Reliability and Security in Wireless and Mobile Systems, and Wireless

Sensor Networks. She is a senior member of IEEE and IEEE Computer

Society. She has publications in international journals and proceedings of international

conferences. She also acts as member in technical program committee

Samiran Chattopadhyay is a professor in the Department of Information

Technology, Jadavpur University. He has served as the head of the department

for more than twelve years and as the Joint Director of the School of

Mobile Computing and Communication since its inception. A graduate, post

graduate and gold medalist from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur

he received his Ph.D Degree from Jadavpur University. He has two decades of

experience of serving reputed Industry houses such as Computer Associates,

Interra Systems India, Agilent, Motorola in the capacity of technical consultant.

He led the development of an open-source C++ infrastructure and

tool set for recon gurable computing, released under the GNU GPL 3.0license.

He has visited several Universities in the United Kingdom as a visiting

professor. He has been working on Algorithms for Security, Bio Informatics,

Distributed and Mobile Computing, and Middleware. He has authored, edited

several books and book chapters. Prof. Chattopadhyay acted as a programme

chair, organising chair and IPC member of over 20 international conferences.

He has published more than 120 papers in reputed journals and international

peer reviewed conferences.
