My book shows how God and modern secular knowledge jointly illuminate a path towards a far better future. In our interdependent post-atomic era, 'working cooperatively for mutually advantageous gains has become an enlightened form of selfishness.' Once we begin to follow this divinely and scientifically supported path to a far more cooperative and compassionate future, humans will go through a metamorphosis from the somewhat predatory animals we are to becoming angels living in Paradise. Produktbeschreibung
The dec 2023 edition of 'Small Press Bookwatch' features the following review of this book 'Eloquent, erudite, Informative, insightful, thoughtful and thought-provoking, 'Becoming Angels in Paradise' is an inherently fascinating read.' Similarly, Kirkus says: 'While not all readers will be convinced by the author's religious interpretations, the book nevertheless poses compelling questions about the intersection of religious and scientific ideas, from computer simulations to multiverse theories. While critical of traditional Christianity-arguing, for instance, that Christians since the fourth century have stripped Jesus of his core socialist message-Freeman is generally inclusive of multiple religions, blending Abrahamic doctrines with Hinduism, Buddhism, and even Greek mythology. An idiosyncratic, frequently intriguing study of angels and humanity's future.'

Autorenporträt
Even as a teenager, I wondered why humanity did not use the power of modern technology to create a world of universal abundance rooted in a more compassionate, nurturing, and cooperative interactive pattern. In addition to spending umpteen hours investigating what others have said and done to help humanity move in this direction for over fifty years, I received feedback from myriad people when I spoke semi-professionally about how to create a more cooperative world. While I primarily made my living from owning a marketing firm and from developing low-income housing, I ran a UN reform organization when that issue was discussed seriously in New York. Since our organizational purpose was to motivate governments to upgrade UN reform talks to UN empowerment talks, the feedback I received from thousands of diplomats, politicians, and their aides from every nation made it possible for me to envision a specific plan to end war founded in geopolitical reality. As you will realize if you honor me by reading my book, I also read all major Holy Books and writings about secular findings in a whole variety of fields which overlap my key themes. Based on a lifetime of work finding the common denominators of all these bodies of evidence and dreams about these and related matters, I have written "Becoming Angels in Paradise." Hopefully, you will enjoy it. For your interest, I have one daughter and two grandchildren. I have also travelled very extensively.
