However, with Griffin being a member of Rýkr's monarchy, he's gifted with more than one special talent just like the rest of his family. Still, none of it matters if he doesn't have Avalon Lively in his life to complete the picture.

When Avalon's eighteenth birthday nears, she starts feeling stranger than usual and she has no idea what it means. That is, until she meets a gorgeous brown-haired, blue-eyed stranger whose eyes change a color they're not supposed to. That's when she really begins to freak out.

When Griffin finally makes his move, the piece that's been missing all his life finally snaps into place. Refusing to be without her ever again, he does whatever he needs to in order to claim the white-haired, blue-eyed spitfire that rules his every thought and emotion.

While Avalon is trying to get a grip on her newfound reality and decide what to do next, Griffin is doing everything he can to make Avalon his, and he's not afraid to fight dirty.
