This book offers an overview of research regarding L2 writing and L2 writing assessment with the secondary aim of making L2 writing a central topic within the field of Second Language Acquisition. Dr Ana Cristina Lahuerta Martínez is assistant professor at the University of Oviedo. From a research perspective, her work focuses on language learning and teaching, bilingual education, reading and writing in a foreign language, and ESP. Her research publications include numerous articles in national and international journals.
