Ada C. Mui is a professor of social work at the Columbia University School of Social Work. As a social gerontologist, Dr. Mui has conducted research on informal caregiving, formal service utilization, self-care, and health and mental health among elders from diverse backgrounds. She was principal investigator for the Asian American Elders in New York City Study. Tazuko Shibusawa is associate professor of social work at the New York University Silver School of Social Work.
