Such mistakes helped to hide the reason for the appearance in the South Baltic of a number of ancient Polish and German cities with a gard root. Thus, in the Northern Black Sea region, the capital of a mighty ancient power disappeared, whose army utterly defeated the 30 thousandth army of the Macedonians. It is presented how, armed with the scientific legacy of Claudius Ptolemy, it became possible, with the help of localized Holmgard, to localize the legendary Asgard. It is clearly shown how, using the Ptolemy coordinates of the ancient cities of the Northern Black Sea region, the weighted average amendment makes it possible to determine the locality of the search for ancient settlements, forgotten ancient city-states.
