Dorothea Foster Black (18911951), Dorrit as she was known, was born and tragically died in Adelaide and is one of the women artists who introduced and promoted Modern Art in Australia. Allan Gaekwad was born in Western India and settled in Adelaide. He has published a novel Shakuntala in Marathi and ('Misdiagnosed and Mistreated' soon to to published.) researching for another novel in English. He loves reading, writing, painting and travelling. He is member of South Australian Writers Centre and Royal South Australian Society of Art.
