Alexis Mersel is a food writer, editor, and taco lover. After spending 10 years as an executive at Food Network and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, she attended Ballymaloe Cookery School on a 100-acre organic farm in southeast Ireland. She is a former adjunct faculty member of New York University’s graduate school of publishing and currently works as a cookbook author, food stylist, and blogger. Having lived in Paris, London, New York, and San Francisco, Alexis infuses her love of food and travel into everything she cooks and bakes. Alexis lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, daughter, and giant cookbook collection. She spends her free time baking sourdough bread and teaching kids of all ages how to cook.
