Autorenporträt
Dr. Louis Bernard Antoine migrated from Haiti in his mid-twenties after receiving his medical degree from Faculte de Medicine, University d'Etat D'Haiti. He went on to receive Postgraduate training in Pediatrics and then Psychiatry with a sub-specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Brooklyn, New York., He has been on the faculty of different universities both in Canada and the US. including the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he attained the rank of Associate Professor. His passion includes writing and painting. He has accumulated a large collection of paintings that can be viewed on Instagram under the artist name Ben-Xart_Dr.
