Autorenporträt
Born in Houston, Texas, Ravey Darrell Wesley attended public school, where he knew that he had to work hard to have any chance of a career. He knew education would prepared him for the phases in his life after high school. He obtained an Associate's Degree in early childhood education from Houston Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Texas Southern University. Hoping to own his own childcare center, Ravey taught in a private center before he received an opportunity at a school district in the Houston area. After eight years with the district, he moved to a charter school as an administrator. He writes novels and speaks to highlight the benefits of government-sponsored education programs funded by all of society for students as they exit high school.
