Autorenporträt

Dr Ian Hawker was born and raised in Wallasey. After gaining a BSc degree in Physics from Leicester University and a PhD in Semiconductor Physics sponsored by AERE Harwell, he settled in Ipswich where he has spent a lifetime working in telecommunications. He has written many technical publications, but has always enjoyed science fiction and finally decided to try it out for himself. This is his third novel. Ian is married, has three married children and two grandchildren. He lives happily with his wife and enjoys reading, dog walking and chess.
