A native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Dan Donovan is a retired Navy Captain and former submarine commander. His grandchildren's response to stories about the adventures of a friendly skunk with a magical tail inspired Dan to publish them for other children to enjoy. Dan lives in Annapolis, Maryland.
