A. D. Brown was born in Newark, New Jersey, but grew up in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At an early age, she felt the call of God on her life and was baptized at seven years old. Throughout the years, A. D. Brown would serve the church in many capacities, including church choir, usher, secretary, children's ministry, girls' club instructor, Bible study group leader, intercessory prayer leader, and women's ministry. Shortly after graduating from Morgan State University with a bachelor of science degree in business management and a master of science degree in logistics, A. D. Brown discovered her passion for writing. It was during her journey with the Lord that she was able to reflect on how the Word of God helped her overcome seven of life's toughest challenges: jealousy, unforgivingness, anger, pride, disobedience, gossip, and addiction. These seven challenges were poisoning her soul and keeping her from receiving God's best for her life. After being delivered from the stronghold of the enemy and living a life of victory, she decided to share her story of deliverance to others hurting and struggling in life. A. D. Brown has made a commitment to help others live the life that Jesus died to give them. A. D. Brown has written three feature films and one television drama. This is her first Christian book. She lives in Southern California with her husband of seventeen years and their two children.
