Autorenporträt
Edward Kemp is a writer, director and dramaturg. He has adapted Moliere's Le Malade Imaginaire and Dom Juan for the West Yorkshire Playhouse, the medieval Mysteries for the RSC and BBC Radio, W.G. Sebald's The Emigrants for BBC Radio, and Nathan the Wise and Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita for Chichester Festival Theatre. His adaptation of Faulkner's As I Lay Dying has been seen at the Young Vic, London, and in Louisiana and Los Angeles. Work with his own company, The Table Show, has played at the National Theatre, London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Budapest and Wellington, New Zealand. He has also written over a dozen short opera libretti.
