Dell Miller, CADCII, has been working in the field of addictions since 1972. Linda Miller has been working in the field of Addictions since 1985. Dell has worked in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Long Term Residential treatment facilities, ranging from private to non¿profit. Originating out of Minnesota, he started working in the field in the early 1970¿s, being involved with the original Triad of Johnson Institute, St. Mary¿s, and Pharm House in Minneapolis, Minn. He then moved to Tucson, Arizona where he met Linda. In Tucson, Dell was involved with St. Josephs, O¿Reilly Care Center, Padre Kino, and Sierra Tucson, and was involved with The Meadows Facility working with Pat Melody in Wickenburg, AZ from 1984 to 1994. Dell also worked with the Victim Witness Program in Tucson, AZ which was the first of its kind and is now in every County Attorney¿s Office. Over a ten year period of time in Arizona, Dell periodically did trainings for the Hopi, Navaho and Apache Nations. Dell and Linda were involved as part of the team that developed and started Prescott House in Prescott, AZ where Dell was Clinical Director and Linda was the Office Manager for four years from its onset. Dell and Linda have been working and living in Oregon since. He has been working as both Clinician and Clinical Director and she has been Administrative Director for Heron Counseling Services, State Licensed Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, DBA Better Choices in Oregon since 1996. Dell wrote, while Linda assisted, writing his book in 1994 called ¿Re-union, Healing our Victim and Offender Patterns¿. In 1986 he designed and produced ¿The Sobriety Game¿, a therapeutic game for those in Twelve Step recovery which was in the Newsweek , 1987 cover story on ¿Alcohol and the Family.¿ He also designed and implemented the ¿Adult Children Game¿ in 1987, which was a therapy game to assist children and adults who were sexually and physically abused as children to help share their story and process issues in a therapeutic setting. Linda also assisted in writing their most recent works ¿Twelve Steps Unlocked.¿ Dell has been in Twelve Step Recovery since 1973 in AA and NA. Linda has been in Twelve Step Recovery Since 1985, involved in Al-Anon and Co-Dependency Anonymous.
