Jackson Berry was born in February 1953 in Semaphore South Australia He never knew his natural parents His early days were in Quorn Stirling North and Hallett SA When his stepmother remarried , Florence and Jackson moved to the Mallee South of Murray Bridge in 1961 He was educated at the local area school of Coomandooktill 1968 The family moved to Somerton Park an Adelaide seaside suburb He attended Brighton High for two years before entering the workforce as a junior clerk He married in 1975 and in 1983 moved to Melbourne with wife and has two sons He still resides in Melbourne Victoria
