The purpose of the study was to identify the main factors that determine the low school performance of students in Youth and Adult Education in public municipal schools of Belém do Pará. It was adopted as Methodology, the Field Research, which allowed the application of the questionnaire to the population of teachers and students of two municipal schools, with approach in the Dialectical Method.
