Author Catherine McLin (Cathy) was born and raised in Brazil, Indiana by her parents, Richard and Greta Brush. She has a brother, Matt and sister, Becky. Cathy lived away from Brazil for about 8 years, but returned, met and married her husband Chad. They have been married for 22 years. Cathy has one stepdaughter Nikki (husband Ricki) and four grandchildren, to whom she dedicated her first book. She has worked for International Paper for 15 years. When not writing, Cathy loves to research her family history (genealogy) and of course, she love to read and write.
