Jonathan L. Ready is Associate Professor of Classical Studies at Indiana University. He has authored two monographs on the Homeric simile: Character, Narrator, and Simile in the Iliad (Cambridge, 2011) and The Homeric Simile in Performance: Comparative Perspectives (Oxford, forthcoming). Christos Tsagalis is Professor of Greek at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has authored six monographs: Epic Grief (2004); The Oral Palimpsest (2008); Inscribing Sorrow (2008); Space in the Iliad (2012); Ομηρικές μελέτες (2016); Early Greek Epic Fragments (forthcoming). Contributors are: Justin Arft, Bill Beck, Ronald J. J. Blankenborg, Jonathan Fenno, Zina Giannopoulou, Andrew M. McClellan, Pietro Pucci, and Konstantinos Spanoudakis.
