Autorenporträt
Mark D. Roehrs received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1998. His specialty fields include United States diplomatic and military history. He is currently an assistant professor at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois. Willliam A. Renzi received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1969, where he studied under Pacific War specialist Gordon Prange. His other works include In the Shadow of the Sword: Italy's Neutrality and Entrance into the Great War, 1914-1915. He was an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, until his death in 1991.
