Stephan Helgesen is a retired career U.S. diplomat who lived and worked in over 30 countries for nearly 25 years in Europe, the Caribbean Basin and the Pacific Rim. He has written two previous books on the Republican Party with co-author and renown U.S. pollster, V. Lance Tarrance. He is a political analyst and strategist and ran two campaigns for a Lt. Governor and Governor candidate. He is a frequent U.S. political commentator for the Danish National Broadcasting System and successfully predicted the Republicans' win on election eve, coming within one electoral vote of the actual electoral vote tally. He has written over 750 articles on politics, economics and social trends that have appeared in many U.S. and foreign publications.
