Women are the half of the population of Bangladesh and women have the property right that is approved by the Legal system of Muslim society. Here most of the people are Muslim but the Islamic property right system for women is not exercised by Bangladeshi society. From different spheres thus women get right at different part of property. It is commonly assumed that Muslim women are frustrated in their pursuit of property rights because those rights are limited under the Islamic legal system, they lack agency in the face of oppressive family and social structures and have an absence of conviction in their articulation of gender rights. The main objective of the study to gain more information about changing status of women property right and better understanding about the existing knowledge of women towards the Islamic law of property rights. This study shows how women relinquishment of property caused by traditional view about property rights accelerates the poverty among women and how this poverty increase less fulfillment of basic needs of women and less participation in decision making process of intra household arena.
