Women Spiritual Help-Seeking Behavior Available literature showed that large proportions of attendees of spiritual houses are women, yet, little is known about their help-seeking characteristics in terms of the problems they seek help for. The need to understand this phenomenon has been emphasized in the literature yet little empirical attention has been paid to it. Not much has been done on the psychological and social factors that predict women spiritual help-seeking behavior and the nature of problems they seek help for.
