Originally from a small mining village in South Wales, in 1982 Carole, her husband, Barrie and two children, moved to live in Plymouth, Devon. It was here she first worked at Westward Television as hostess to programmes and then The Palace Theatre as a PA. She and her husband later joined the licensed trade and moved the family to Brixham, Devon. They went on to purchase several thriving establishments in and around The English Riviera. In 1992 she joined Brixham Writers' Group - their help and advice proved invaluable. Over the years she has written four historical romance novels all originally published by Robert Hale Ltd. She also writes short stories/articles published in Women's magazines in the UK and abroad. Carole is currently working on her next novel. She and Barrie now live in Paignton, Devon.
