Autorenporträt
Annette Burfoot is Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology at Queen's University, Canada. She is the editor of The Encyclopedia of Reproductive Technologies and the four volume set Visual Culture and Gender , and the co-editor of Killing Women: The Visual Culture of Gender and Violence. Derya Güngör received her PhD in Sociology from Queen's University in 2019. She is specialized in feminist theories, biopolitics, reproduction politics, pregnancy governance and sociology of medicine.
