Julie Chapman is a two-time Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist who is well-known throughout much of Upstate New York. She has been a professional television journalist for more than thirty years. Santa, Elves, and Magical Bells is Chapman's second poetry book. Her first book, Witches, Bats, and Mystical Cats celebrates the magical moments of the Halloween season and the adventures that await. Released in 2021, it won numerous national book awards including Children's Book of the Year by The Outstanding Creator Awards. Critics called her poetry "masterful." Chapman has a master's degree in journalism from The College of Saint Rose.
