This Monograph includes studies related to the winter resistance of winter oilseed canola (Brassica napus L.) and the possibilities for reseeding of damaged by frost areas with nine field crops: spring oilseed canola (Brassica napus L.), durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.), oil-bearing sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.), grain maize (Zea mays L.), grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor Moench.), forage pea (Pisum sativum L.), chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.), coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) and milk thistle (Silybum marianum Gaertn.).Ut was studied the winter resistance of 16 winter oilseed canola hybrids, including: 7 conventional hybrids, 2 conventional Maximus hybrids, 5 Clearfield hybrids, 2 Clearfield Maximus hybrids. A large number of herbicides, herbicide combinations and herbicide tank mixtures have also been tested.It was investigated the influence of the weather conditions, herbicides, herbicide combinations and herbicide tank mixtures on seed and grain yields, yield components, sowing characteristics of sowing-seeds and the weed species in the respective crops.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Grozi Delchev, PhD, forscht seit 1995 am Institut für Feldkulturen, Chirpan, Bulgarien. Seit 2012 ist er an der Universität Trakia in Stara Zagora, Bulgarien, tätig. Er erforscht die chemische Unkrautbekämpfung in einigen Feldkulturen - Hartweizen, Raps, Sonnenblumen, Mais, Sorghum, Koriander, Mariendistel, Erbsen und Baumwolle.
