After learning photography in high school, Richard Smith's interest in photography continued while studying music in college. During a long music teaching career, Richard took photographic jobs when time permitted while continuing to hone his photographic skills and gain experience. Now working full time in wildlife, landscape, and architectural photography, his work is represented by several agencies and has been published in regional, national, and international publications. This first book represents his continuing interest in expressive photography of birds.
