Born and raised in Brazil, Ligia Carvalho has been living abroad for many years (in Canada and USA). Holding a bachelor's degree in Mass (Social) Communication, the author also holds a certification in Business Writing and works as a Freelance Writer for several companies and clients worldwide. Her first book, "Max Loves Cupcakes," was published in 2017. In 2018, she released her second book, "Grandma is a Star" - a book about grief for kids.
