When Pope Francis asked what specific mission he has for the laity, he responded: "They have to go out, they have to go and bring the message of Jesus to others," explaining that the Good News is meant to be shared, not stored away. Theology student and Bible-study teacher Lillian Conti inspires her Grade 11 students into a unique spiritual journey, changing their hearts and minds. She invites everyone else who seeks a spiritual connection to a loving God to read 'Where is God?' This work explores the origins of humanity, angels, demons and the universe, and the understanding of scriptures, salvation, and the nature and essence of God. In reading 'Where is God?' you will be illuminated with greater wisdom and spiritual growth. Through a mysterious plot hidden in clever email communications between a mysterious man who calls himself Philip and a teenager named Elizabeth, the answers to life's struggles and spiritual mysteries are revealed. Elizabeth finds God's love, His characteristics, His plan of salvation, His accessibility through prayer, His good plans for our lives, His forgiveness and Eternal life. An activity section after every chapter encourages readers to contemplate key scripture passages. They are then guided to strengthen their faith and understanding of theological, spiritual, and philosophical concepts. For the teachers, this book can be used as a manual to formulate lesson plans and guide the students to: "BE THE SALT OF THE EARTH AND THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!" Matthew 5:13-16.
