You shouldn't spend your time listening to the advice of people who have never done what you want to do. You should never get fitness tips from an over-weight trainer, business tips from your broke Uncle Jim, or marital tips from someone who has been divorced three times. If you think like a successful entrepreneur and do what a successful entrepreneur does wouldn't you become successful? You shouldn't spend your time listening to the advice of people who have never done what you want to do. You should never get fitness tips from an over-weight trainer, business tips from your broke Uncle Jim, or marital tips from someone who has been divorced three times. If you think like a successful entrepreneur and do what a successful entrepreneur does wouldn't you become successful? If you only get your advice from some college professor or academic who has never achieved business or financial success, isn't it likely that you will never achieve success as well? My friend you need to listen to a successful entrepreneur. I am not qualified to give you fitness tips or advice on how to improve your golf swing, but I was the "United States Small Business Administration Entrepreneur of the Year" because I know how to start and grow businesses. Over the years I've started numerous successful businesses and organizations of my own. During this time, I've also been blessed with the opportunity to successfully coach nearly every type of business imaginable including: appliance stores, attorneys, auto detailers, bakeries, basketball coaches, bootcamp fitness programs, churches, coffee shops, commercial real estate professionals, cupcake businesses, disk jockey companies, event planners, financial planners, hair salons, health insurance providers, hotels, ID manufacturers, internet marketers, insurance companies, jewelers, landscapers, leadership experts, medical product resellers, ministries, mortgage companies, motivational speakers, multi-level marketers, paint suppliers, photographers, purse manufacturers, real estate companies, restaurants, snowcone shop owners, staffing companies, supplement manufacturers, travel planners, universities, web developers, videographers, women's groups, nothing that starts with an "x", and the Zenith awards. As I've traveled around the country helping these people and organizations, I've discovered that the process of achieving success in any type of business is very similar. If you go down the wrong path, bad things happen. If you implement the "best practice" business strategies that have been proven to work time and time again, you will succeed. It doesn't matter how many hours you pour into your website updates or how many sales calls you make if you are doing it the wrong way. It doesn't matter how hard you work or how smart you are if you don't have the right keys. If you don't know the specific action steps you need to take to unlock your true prosperity, it will never happen. There is a strong chance that everyone reading this is smarter than me. I took my ACT multiple times to get into college and I probably would have never passed if it wasn't for the specific strategies I learned from a course I purchased. Throughout the course of this book, I will teach you the specific strategies and action steps you need to take to unlock your true potential and to pass the test of entrepreneurship.
