Autorenporträt
Gary Frederic is poet and traveler who has a deep appreciation for the Creator and His creation. He was born to immigrant parents in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in a poor household. Despite their circumstances, his parents were always hospitable and generous, and they instilled in him a love for learning and helping others. He learned that no matter how little you have, you can still share with others. And for the past 30 years he has been doing just that by writing poetry and literature to share with others with the goal of encouraging and inspiring them. After living in Brooklyn for 24 years, Gary moved to the south where he met his wife. They have traveled extensively together, immersing themselves in different cultures and experiencing life with locals. Gary has ridden elephants in Thailand, taken a safari in South Africa, and held endangered turtle species in his hands in Sri Lanka. He has also stood next to kangaroos in Australia, viewed the Swiss alps on a mountain top in Switzerland, and sat at little coffee shops in Barcelona, Spain, and Paris, France. Throughout the years, traveling to different countries has enhanced his appreciation for cultures differences and the natural wonders of creation. Gary's greatest love is learning about the Creator through the pages of the Bible. He believes that the Bible tells us much about our Creator, just as a novel can tell us much about its author. He also sees God's fingerprint in all of creation. This is why he enjoys writing about the Creator and His creation, as well as having conversations about Him with others. He hopes that his poems will encourage and inspire others to do the same.
