This book was written in my attempt to open the eyes of readers whose knowledge and understanding of God has been twisted and lied by the demagogues for so long. When it comes to faith and how it is practiced, readers should learn that people yesterday are no different from most people today. The only difference is the sophistication of current methods compared to what they have in the past. Giving example of this reality is by dissecting the elements of the Ten Commandments. You will note that man's flaws yesterday as described in the Bible reflect the same flaws of our man today. We have to accept that man has been the same since the beginning of time. However, we cannot blame humanity for what they have been made to believe. Early thinkers, who are Jews, started the idea of one God based on signs, predictions, observations, miracles, and assumptions. They become successful in convincing the world that they have the first-hand knowledge of God and people should listen to them. Their orientation was formulated based on faith with little logic of science. People are generally unacquainted by predatory preaching, ignorant and vulnerable to the influence of more advance demagogues. People are ambushed by strong rhetoric, which the demagogues always have the upper hand. It is fair to say that they are led wrongly, exacerbated by ignorance, and simply taken advantage of that vulnerability. Let me conclude by saying that nobody can really understand the true nature of God. We simply have a hint of him, but we can uphold his power and benevolence by following the natural laws he imbedded in all of us. With that, the true love and salvation we can offer him is upholding the golden rule "Do to others as you would have them to you" (Luke 6:31). So help us God.
