However, the herbicides absorption and their translocation are also depends on moisture availability in the soil particularly arid region of Rajasthan (India). The text in the book is too simple and sophisticatedto understand the basics of weed management in chickpea. The book may prove usefulness in the hand of students, teachers, researchers and extension workers.

Vijay Laxmi Yadav, a Ph.D. scholar at Department of Agronomy, SKN Agriculture University, Jobner. I have completed B.Sc. Agriculture (2016) from SKN Agriculture University, Jobner and Post Graduation (2018) from Department of Agronomy, Agriculture University, Jodhpur.
