This course material is aimed at engineering students in textile engineering. It focuses on fundamental concepts relating to preparation for weaving and weaving. Very educational, it is based on a clear and concise text, illustrated with numerous educational diagrams. The theoretical bases are presented in a logical and progressive manner throughout the chapters. Once these concepts are well mastered, in the following chapters the reader will be able to approach the preparation phase for weaving in all its stages, from winding to beading. The last chapter will focus on warping and the calculations necessary before production. An evaluation can be made by the reader by answering the various questions from the application exercises at the end of this manuscript.
