During their investigation, Charmaine decides to investigate each person, but along the way, Charmaine and Pierre must learn to work together with physical obstacles from Charmaine's blindness and Pierre's healing body, and the emotional scars that Charmaine has from Nicholas's untimely death and the trauma from Pierre's accident. Will they be able to weather the physical and emotional storms that keep coming up, while they are trying to save the world from disaster?

Macy Lewis has been blind since birth, she graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's in history and a minor in writing and rhetoric studies. Macy spends her time playing the drums, reading, and writing books, her upcoming children's book is Nina Nebula and the Space Adventure.

Jim King has known Macy since she was a baby. When Jim published his first novel 'Dead Red Lips' Macy started talking to Jim about writing, and they haven't stopped reading and critiquing each other's work. In 2019, they started planning this book, and are currently writing their second novel 'Loma'
