To improve this condition, it is necessary to raise the ground water table through artificial means. But the rise in the water table level is entirely dependent upon water bearing characteristics of the rocks occurring in the region. Therefore, to determine the geological conditions that has helped watershed development activities are described in this context. Watershed management is also important for water as well as soil conservation in the watershed region.
