Maureen Pecknold is a native of Montreal, Canada, currently living in Toronto with her partner and beagle, Pluto. A lawyer by trade, she loves the outdoors and the pristine beauty of the Canadian north. Her adventures have taken her to the far reaches of the globe, but she most loves discovering her own country, with its infinite diversity. This is her first book.
