Physical and geometrical characteristics of fruits are the most important parameters in design of sorting systems. Among these characteristics, mass, outer dimensions, projected areas and volume are the most important ones in sorting systems. É professor assistente desde 2006 no Centro de Investigação e Educação Agrícola e de Recursos Naturais de Teerão, AREEO, Varamin, Irão. Conduziu com sucesso muitas pesquisas na sua especialidade. É também autor de vários livros e artigos.
