Loga Virahsawmy travaille dans le domaine de la justice de genre depuis près de 20 ans. Elle a été directrice générale de Gender Links, bureaux mauriciens et francophones, et présidente de Media Watch Organisation. Elle a participé à diverses recherches. Elle a rédigé le rapport annuel du baromètre du protocole de la SADC sur le genre et le développement.
