Alpheus J. Chewning, author, historian and lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, has amassed a tremendous collection of local postcards. Carefully selecting 200 of these images, he highlights the charm and character of the city from 1900 to 1963. Al serves on the Board of Directors at the Old Coast Guard Station Museum and is a member of the Virginia Beach/Princess Anne County Historical Society.
