Liza Klaussmann stammt aus den USA. Bis 2001 arbeitete sie als Journalistin für die New York Times, u.a. als Korrespondentin in Paris. Sie hat in den USA und England Kreatives Schreiben studiert. Liza Klaussmann ist die Urururenkelin von Herman Melville. Heute lebt die Autorin in London.
