Marianne Schwartz first received a degree in early childhood education and was a preschool teacher for 15 years. She went on to receive a degree in childhood education for grades 1-6, and then completed her graduate degree in literacy education. Marianne began reading to her own children when they were infants and is an avid reader. She has always included a picture book in every lesson plan she has written. Marianne has two published books, Paul's First Day of Preschool and The Long Winter, from her book series titled The Many Adventures of Preschool.
