In order to achieve this, intensive research work on various aspects of floriculture is being attempted systematically. The present publication is planned to reveal the behaviour of different varieties of tuberose towards flowering for their use as loose and cut flower, concrete and absolute extraction from the flowers for perfumery industry.

Dr Ranjan Srivastava is currently working as Associate Professor of Horticulture. In his career spanning 13 years, he has to his credit 42 research papers,3 books, 8 chapters in books and 1 lab manual. He has guided 10 M.Sc. and 6 Ph.D. students majoring in Floricultutre & Landscaping. He has participated in various conferences in India and abroad.
